Contracts Administration Clerk jobs in York, PA

Contracts Administration Clerk prepares, maintains, and administers contract documents according to policies and regulations. Verifies that all required and associated materials in contract packages are in place. Being a Contracts Administration Clerk follows contract monitoring procedures to ensure documents are up to date and that contractual obligations are in compliance. Ensures that contract renewal dates are tracked and that applicable renewal documents are generated and processed. Additionally, Contracts Administration Clerk maintains contract records used to ensure compliance with reporting and regulatory requirements. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Contracts Administration Clerk works under moderate supervision. Gaining or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline.     • Responsible for administrative functions relating to the interpretation of customer contractual requirements and the dissemination of pertinent information necessary to process the work to meet contractual obligations.
    • Inform the customer regarding contract status and to ensure that billings are promptly issued.
    • Ensure a smooth flow of contractually required information is made to all internal disciplines and to the customer.
    • Strong attention to detail and accuracy is essential for this position.

    Skills & Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's Degree in a business-related major, or equivalent specialized training, knowledge, and experience.
    • Two (2) to three (3) years general business or contract-related experience
    • Must have working knowledge of ERP systems and Microsoft applications, including MS Project
    • Basic to working knowledge of contracting concepts, Uniform Commercial Code, applicable international law, or public contract acquisitions law and regulations.
