Contracts Administration Director is responsible for all activities in the organization's contracts administration function. Oversees the preparation of proposals, negotiations, and the administration of contracts that follow company policies and legal requirements. Being a Contracts Administration Director directs and develops policies and processes that govern the contract administration staff and provide guidance on contract terms and the assessment of contract proposals. Has deep knowledge of the contract life cycle, types of contracts, and applicable government regulations. Additionally, Contracts Administration Director leads negotiations for complex or high-value contracts. Typically requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent. Sometimes requires certification like the NCMA Certified Professional Contract Manager (CPCM). Typically reports to senior management. The Contracts Administration Director typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Role Description
The Contracts Administrator is a professional responsible for preparing, negotiating, and reviewing company contracts, including sales, and business partnerships. They ensure compliance with legal requirements, analyze potential risks, by conducting research, preparing reports, establishing, and maintaining files and databases, handling information requests and customer contacts. Perform general administrative functions such as preparing correspondence and reports for customers and management.

Education Required:
Minimum: Bachelor’s degree or Associates Degree with demonstrated contract administration experience. Will consider applicable experience in lieu of degree.
Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in business
Experience And /Or Capability Required:
Minimum: 2 years contract administrative experience desired. Proficient with Microsoft Office. Strong organization and keyboarding skills. Good oral and written communication.
Preferred: 5 years or greater experience working in Contract Administration.
Experience with US DOD and Export-Overseas Customers.
The ideal candidate should possess exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to effectively communicate and negotiate with stakeholders. They should also be able to analyze complex contractual agreements and possess strong analytical skills.
