Contracts Administration Director is responsible for all activities in the organization's contracts administration function. Oversees the preparation of proposals, negotiations, and the administration of contracts that follow company policies and legal requirements. Being a Contracts Administration Director directs and develops policies and processes that govern the contract administration staff and provide guidance on contract terms and the assessment of contract proposals. Has deep knowledge of the contract life cycle, types of contracts, and applicable government regulations. Additionally, Contracts Administration Director leads negotiations for complex or high-value contracts. Typically requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent. Sometimes requires certification like the NCMA Certified Professional Contract Manager (CPCM). Typically reports to senior management. The Contracts Administration Director typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be a Contracts Administration Director typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience.     POSITION TITLE: Director of Finance and Administration

    REPORTS TO: Casino General Manager/Tribal Council

    SALARY: Exempt; Beginning Salary 150k-175k

    Position Summary: This position Oversees all financial planning and reporting of the business entities, including preparation of current financial reports. Provides professional, strategic, managerial guidance and direction in the areas of Compliance, Purchasing, Accounting, Cash, Analytics and Audit functions.

    • Ensures the quality of management operations in all areas of the Finance Department and any operational areas assigned in the future.
    • Establishes, maintains, and manages all financial and operational controls and metrics within the organization.
    • Is accountable, to the highest degree, for the accuracy and thoroughness of departmental records and reports; maintains highest ethical standards.
    • Ensures the integrity of all financial data produced by the department.
    • Responsible for the development, implementation and management of all company accounting policies, procedures and practices.
    • Oversees the preparation of the monthly and annual financial statements.
    • Oversees the departmental internal and external review of the monthly financial statements.
    • Responsible for the accurate preparation of all financial statements, budgets and reporting.
    • Prepares reporting information that will enable the General Manager to direct financial strategy, planning and forecasts; confers with executive management and departmental heads as required.
    • Responsible for financial compliance with all covenants, codes and governing agreements.

    Education and Experience Requisite:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance mandatory. MBA/CPA highly preferred.
    • Minimum of seven (7) years of accounting/audit experience in a business enterprise with a minimum of five (5) years of senior management experience and/or equivalent (Controller or higher).
    • Minimum 5 years of CASINO SPECIFIC accounting, audit work and/or financial management required.
    • Working knowledge of NIGC and all Federal and State regulations relating to gaming.
    • Must be able to acquire and maintain a Gaming License.
    • Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug test and background investigation.

    Job Type: Full-time

    Pay: $150,000.00 - $170,000.00 per year
