Contracts Administration Director is responsible for all activities in the organization's contracts administration function. Oversees the preparation of proposals, negotiations, and the administration of contracts that follow company policies and legal requirements. Being a Contracts Administration Director directs and develops policies and processes that govern the contract administration staff and provide guidance on contract terms and the assessment of contract proposals. Has deep knowledge of the contract life cycle, types of contracts, and applicable government regulations. Additionally, Contracts Administration Director leads negotiations for complex or high-value contracts. Typically requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent. Sometimes requires certification like the NCMA Certified Professional Contract Manager (CPCM). Typically reports to senior management. The Contracts Administration Director typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be a Contracts Administration Director typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience. Land Administration Manager

  • As a Land Administration Manager, you will work with our industry-leading land acquisition team to manage the Land Contract Management System, provide administrative leadership, administer legal functions related to land contracts, and perform other land acquisition support related activities.  Your ability to demonstrate an understanding of land contracts and the variation in terms from contract to contract will make you successful! 

    Primary Responsibilities

    • Manage all administrative functions regarding land acquisition contracts and milestones.
    • Coordinate seller acquisition closings with Ryan Homes and developer counsel, corporate office and seller's agent.
    • Coordinate and complete contract amendments with outside legal counsel.
    • Coordinate Phase I Environmental assessments and ensure insurance standards are met, that remediation actions are properly documented.
    • Make recommendations for amending contract language for consistency with changing standards.
    • Facilitate the flow of information, resolve issues and monitor timely performance of law firms.
    • Assist developers with contracts, Deeds, HOA documentation, and filing of re-zoning and condominium applications.

    Qualifications

    • 2-4 years successful contract administration experience
    • Associate or Bachelors degree
    • Real Estate para-legal experience
    • Homebuilding industry experience, a plus
