Contracts Administration Director is responsible for all activities in the organization's contracts administration function. Oversees the preparation of proposals, negotiations, and the administration of contracts that follow company policies and legal requirements. Being a Contracts Administration Director directs and develops policies and processes that govern the contract administration staff and provide guidance on contract terms and the assessment of contract proposals. Has deep knowledge of the contract life cycle, types of contracts, and applicable government regulations. Additionally, Contracts Administration Director leads negotiations for complex or high-value contracts. Typically requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent. Sometimes requires certification like the NCMA Certified Professional Contract Manager (CPCM). Typically reports to senior management. The Contracts Administration Director typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be a Contracts Administration Director typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience. Responsible for support and tactical task execution of Contract Administration, including Data Quality review and adherence. This role plays an important role in ensuring standards of the process and data are accurate and operating effective. The role will support research requests, reporting , tracking across the Procurement Operations tasks. This role will support function for the activity of Third Party contract management and perform tactical roles for the Contracts (Procurement) team. Scope of activities may cross over all contract , procurement work and purchasing functions performed by the Contract Admin function. Requires expertise of navigation, data entry and edit updates in SAP Ariba , Fieldglass, and Microsoft Office suite of tools.

The typical base pay range for this role is between $70K - $85K depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and location. This role may also be eligible for certain discretionary performance-based bonus and/or incentive compensation.
