Contracts Administration Director jobs in Waco, TX

Contracts Administration Director is responsible for all activities in the organization's contracts administration function. Oversees the preparation of proposals, negotiations, and the administration of contracts that follow company policies and legal requirements. Being a Contracts Administration Director directs and develops policies and processes that govern the contract administration staff and provide guidance on contract terms and the assessment of contract proposals. Has deep knowledge of the contract life cycle, types of contracts, and applicable government regulations. Additionally, Contracts Administration Director leads negotiations for complex or high-value contracts. Typically requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent. Sometimes requires certification like the NCMA Certified Professional Contract Manager (CPCM). Typically reports to senior management. The Contracts Administration Director typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be a Contracts Administration Director typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience.   • SUMMARY: The job involves being part of a work crew that removes litter from roadways and provides a variety of landscaping services.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

    LITTER REMOVAL

    • Pick up litter along designated roadways.
    • Bag all picked up litter.
    • Load and unload trash bags into truck or trailer.
    • Load, unload, set up, and move highway awareness signs

    LANDSCAPING DUTIES

    • Mow around trees, shrubs, and picnic pads
    • Rake and bag grass clippings
    • Trim curbs and areas around trees with gas-powered trimmer
    • Prune shrubs and trees
    • Report and make necessary repairs
    • Inspect vehicles, trailers, and mowing equipment for safe operation
    • Perform before, during, and after operation maintenance

    GENERAL RESPONSIBLITIES
