Contracts Administration Director is responsible for all activities in the organization's contracts administration function. Oversees the preparation of proposals, negotiations, and the administration of contracts that follow company policies and legal requirements. Being a Contracts Administration Director directs and develops policies and processes that govern the contract administration staff and provide guidance on contract terms and the assessment of contract proposals. Has deep knowledge of the contract life cycle, types of contracts, and applicable government regulations. Additionally, Contracts Administration Director leads negotiations for complex or high-value contracts. Typically requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent. Sometimes requires certification like the NCMA Certified Professional Contract Manager (CPCM). Typically reports to senior management. The Contracts Administration Director typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be a Contracts Administration Director typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience.     POSITION SUMMARY: The Director, Regulatory Administration is responsible for overseeing business compliance with federal, state and professional standards and regulations for all business areas of rehabilitation organization. This role is responsible for policies and procedures development, maintenance and revision as well as oversight of audit processes. This includes analysis and report development to support the Quality Improvement Program. This position is responsible for ensuring all companies/business areas integrate and comply with national and state legislation as well as adherence to Powerback policies and standards.
    The Director, Regulatory Administration assists the organization, the health care industry, and other entities as assigned as a technical consultant and resource for legislative process, regulatory development and business compliance.

    RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES:
    Provides timely regulatory and professional information, consultation and compliance resources to the organization.
    Oversees and facilitates implementation of revision and maintenance of regulatory data, reimbursement resources and the respective company's policies and procedures manuals.
    Supports regulatory compliance for reimbursement, business operations and health, and safety standards.
    Supports regulatory oversight and provides compliance reporting for the Quality Improvement and Policies and Procedures Committees.
    Supports systems integration to facilitate compliance in clinical documentation, and billing requirements.
    Establishment of and collaboration with internal (Powerback system) and external (federal, state, and professional) agencies/organizations toward regulatory, reimbursement, professional and industry advocacy and compliance initiatives.
    Corporate, industry and professional representation on administrative committees to facilitate integration of nationally legislated, standardized and/or corporate-directed mandates and initiatives.
    Development and implementation of processes, systems and/or initiatives to promote patient and professional advocacy, regulatory compliance and service reimbursement.
    Remote and/or onsite audit, analysis and support of Corporate Compliance and/or internal audit functions.
    Identification and reporting of operational and financial risk areas for regulatory non-compliance.
    Ad hoc facilitator for and resource to GHCC Legal Services when addressing reimbursement, regulatory and operational risk areas.
    Assists in the development/maintenance of compliance resources (coding resources, clinical program, operational initiatives).
    Utilizes a project management approach for interdepartmental and interdisciplinary projects to facilitate comprehensive and timely completion of assignments.
    Provides informational support for corporate/company publications and resource documents.
    Maintains budgetary oversight for areas of responsibility.
    Supervises and evaluates staff for areas of responsibility.
    Other duties as assigned.

    Requirements:

    Have a minimum of 10 years' experience in clinical care, of which 5 years involved in process review and improvement, with experience managing people and projects.
    Hold office(s) or leadership role on state and/or national professional, government relations, clinical, policy, or steering committee(s) and/or executive board(s).
