Contracts Administration Manager prepares and administers bids, proposals, and commercial and government contracts that follow company policies and legal requirements. Manages the contracts administration staff and guides compliance with complex contractual and regulatory requirements. Being a Contracts Administration Manager negotiates with suppliers, partners, or customers. Ensures contracts are administered and monitored to maintain compliance with the terms of agreements. Additionally, Contracts Administration Manager has a strong understanding of the contract life cycle, types of contracts, and applicable government regulations. Typically requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent. Sometimes requires certification like the NCMA Certified Professional Contract Manager (CPCM). Typically reports to a director. The Contracts Administration Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Contracts Administration Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. We are looking for a motivated professional to lead as Senior Contracts Manager. As a Senior Contracts Manager, you will;
    • Be accountable for the preparation, negotiation, and management of complex proposals and/or contract activities in accordance with company policies, legal and customer requirements with limited guidance or supervision from the Contracts Director.
    • Interpret and communicate business commitments and alternatives to program teams and management while proactively managing contractual scope, customer communication and expectations.
    • Use an extensive knowledge of government contracting methods, applicable laws and regulations and the ability to develop and maintain professional and dependable relationships with both internal and external customers, especially in challenging and sometimes demanding situations.
    • Use knowledge and understanding of the FAR and DFAR.
    *This is an on-site position where you will be required to be onsite 2-3 times a week.


    Required Education, Experience, & Skills
    • Bachelor's Degree and 10 years of related contracts experience or equivalent experience in DoD contracting.
    • Strong team players who enjoy working with program management and other functional disciplines in a supportive and complementary manner.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for this position as well has having the ability to work independently and think critically with minimal supervision.
    • Working knowledge of FAR/DFAR


    Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
    • JD or MBA degree in Business or related field.


    Pay Information
    Full-Time Salary Range: $124080 - $210980

    Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
