Contracts Administration Manager prepares and administers bids, proposals, and commercial and government contracts that follow company policies and legal requirements. Manages the contracts administration staff and guides compliance with complex contractual and regulatory requirements. Being a Contracts Administration Manager negotiates with suppliers, partners, or customers. Ensures contracts are administered and monitored to maintain compliance with the terms of agreements. Additionally, Contracts Administration Manager has a strong understanding of the contract life cycle, types of contracts, and applicable government regulations. Typically requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent. Sometimes requires certification like the NCMA Certified Professional Contract Manager (CPCM). Typically reports to a director. The Contracts Administration Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Contracts Administration Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     Job Description Summary

    Responsible for support and tactical task execution of Contract Administration, including Data Quality review and adherence. This role plays an important role in ensuring standards of the process and data are accurate and operating effective. The role will support research requests, reporting , tracking across the Procurement Operations tasks. This role will support function for the activity of Third Party contract management and perform tactical roles for the Contracts (Procurement) team. Scope of activities may cross over all contract , procurement work and purchasing functions performed by the Contract Admin function. Requires expertise of navigation, data entry and edit updates in SAP Ariba , Fieldglass, and Microsoft Office suite of tools.

    Responsibilities:


    • Ensure the accurate and timely review of our third party contracts in compliance with all risk management and data control requirements, and company policies and procedures
    • Create, review and send Orders to internal and external personnel
    • Under the supervision of management, design and develop monthly and ad hoc reporting
    • Support corporate and departmental strategy by tracking and reporting progress
    • Participate in projects as assigned
    • Ensure appropriate processes, systems and controls are in place to support transparency


    Requirements:


    • BA/BS degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
    • Related experience, ideally contract administration
    • Experience in SAP Ariba
    • Ability to work independently and effectively in a team environment to meet tight deadlines
    • Proficient with MS Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, Access, and PowerPoint
    • Detail-oriented, self-motivated and able to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
    • Able to prioritize and manage deadlines

    The typical base pay range for this role is between $70K - $85K depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and location. This role may also be eligible for certain discretionary performance-based bonus and/or incentive compensation.
