Contracts Administration Manager prepares and administers bids, proposals, and commercial and government contracts that follow company policies and legal requirements.     Job Summary:
    We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Federal Contracts Manager to oversee all aspects of our company’s Federal, State, Local, and Corporate contract management. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of federal contracting regulations, policies, and procedures, along with exceptional negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.
    Responsibilities:
    • Contract Development: Draft, review, and negotiate federal contracts, subcontracts, modifications, and other legal documents to ensure compliance with federal regulations and company policies.
    • Compliance: Ensure all federal contracts adhere to government regulations, including FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulation), DFARS (Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement), and other relevant laws and regulations.
    • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with federal contracts, including legal, financial, and operational risks.
    • Contract Administration: Manage the administration of federal contracts throughout the contract lifecycle, including contract interpretation, performance monitoring, and compliance with terms and conditions.
    • Bid and Proposal Support: Provide guidance and support to business development teams during the bidding and proposal process for federal contracts, including reviewing solicitations, preparing proposals, and addressing contract-related inquiries.
    • Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with government agencies, subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders involved in federal contracting activities.
    • Training and Guidance: Provide training and guidance to internal teams on federal contracting regulations, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance and mitigate risks.
    • Reporting and Documentation: Prepare and maintain accurate and comprehensive contract files, reports, and documentation in accordance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
    • Dispute Resolution: Facilitate the resolution of disputes, claims, and issues arising from federal contracts, including negotiation, mediation, and, if necessary, litigation support.
    • Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on changes in federal contracting regulations, policies, and best practices, and recommend process improvements and enhancements to optimize contract management practices.
    Requirements:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Contract Management, Legal Studies, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
    • At least 5 years of experience in federal contract management, with a strong understanding of FAR, DFARS, and other relevant regulations.
    • Demonstrated experience in drafting, negotiating, and administering federal contracts.
    • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels.
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
    • Certified Federal Contracts Manager (CFCM) or similar certification preferred.
