Contracts Administration Manager prepares and administers bids, proposals, and commercial and government contracts that follow company policies and legal requirements. Manages the contracts administration staff and guides compliance with complex contractual and regulatory requirements. Being a Contracts Administration Manager negotiates with suppliers, partners, or customers. Ensures contracts are administered and monitored to maintain compliance with the terms of agreements. Additionally, Contracts Administration Manager has a strong understanding of the contract life cycle, types of contracts, and applicable government regulations. Typically requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent. Sometimes requires certification like the NCMA Certified Professional Contract Manager (CPCM). Typically reports to a director. The Contracts Administration Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Contracts Administration Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     We are looking to fill a full-time, Contracts Manager position to help our Sales and Marketing teams. The person will manage and maintain all procurement contracts (e.g., Sourcewell and NASPO). This position will work with various team members around the nation and is available as a remote position.

    Responsibilities include:
    • Manages all national and state procurement contracts, serving as the primary point of contact for all PlayPower brands
    • Prepares, organizes, maintains, and archives all national and state procurement contract records
    • Leads and manages RFP response for all national and state procurement contracts
    • Customer service contact for all national and state procurement contracts
    • Manages our continuing education contracts and accreditation

    Qualified applicants will have:
    • Must have at least an Associate’s degree in Business Administration or a directly related field; a Bachelor’s degree is preferred
    • Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a business profession
    • Must have experience managing procurement contracts
    • Must have strategic souring and pricing experience; must have excellent analytical skills, attention to detail and the ability to spot errors and inconsistencies quickly
    • Must have excellent organizational and time management skills; must have experience using Microsoft Office Suite and project management software
    • Must have excellent interpersonal, customer service and communication skills, working with a diverse group of individuals throughout the company and external organizations
    • Must be able to manage multiple projects, delivered on time and within budget in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment
    • Must take accountability and ownership and take an entrepreneurial approach in managing workload; must be able to work independently and with a large group
