Contracts Administration Manager prepares and administers bids, proposals, and commercial and government contracts that follow company policies and legal requirements. Manages the contracts administration staff and guides compliance with complex contractual and regulatory requirements. Being a Contracts Administration Manager negotiates with suppliers, partners, or customers. Ensures contracts are administered and monitored to maintain compliance with the terms of agreements. Additionally, Contracts Administration Manager has a strong understanding of the contract life cycle, types of contracts, and applicable government regulations. Typically requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent. Sometimes requires certification like the NCMA Certified Professional Contract Manager (CPCM). Typically reports to a director. The Contracts Administration Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Contracts Administration Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. The Western Contract Manager will be the direct POC with our customer for the contracts he/she will are overseeing.

    This role will be responsible for making sure all contracts requirements are being adhered too and resolving any out of compliance issues

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Responsible for managing multiple contracts under all affiliated companies that are assigned to you by the Sr. V.P of Operations.
    • Responsible to develop and implement new training programs to increase our employee's knowledge of new cleaning methods.
    • Project Management experience with contracts of over $1,000,000 with multiple.
    • Ability to manage a group of supervisors in providing the proper training and guidance to help them excel in their roles as well as subordinate employee's under their authority.
    • Providing a weekly schedule to VP of Operation of the contracts, you intend to visit the following week.
    • Providing a weekly written report of all interactions with the customer and any issue identify during site visit and the plan of correction to address those concern.
    • Off-hour and unannounced site visit are critical to identify performance and employees issues and are require in this role.
    • Develop process and procedures to insure that efficiency and safety of all operational employees continue to be
    • Maintain and development critical relationships with our customers and Unique Source to enhance our ability to add additional business to current contracts or new opportunities.
    • Demonstrated ability to help write business plans and technical proposals in order to provide assistance to the executive team when pursuing new opportunities.
    • Willing to attend trainings to increase knowledge of our core business.
    • Must be organized, have excellent time management skills, multitasker and be able to deal with
    • Strategic thinker of potential business opportunities and counselor to the V.P of Operations for business related aspects of the agency.

    SUPERVISORY AND RESPONSIBLITIES:

    • Direct Reports: All personnel working on District 1 & 11 TPM contracts, which include three supervisors and two maintenance workers. Responsibilities will be increased as new contracts are assigned.

    WORK ENVIRONMENT:

    • The job operates in an office environment and also requires travel to contracts under their oversight.

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

    • Travel up to 50-75% within the state. Although the position is largely sedentary, there are times when individual will need to lift up to 50 pounds of various supplies.

    BASIC QUALIFICATONS:

    • High School Graduate/GED
    • Technical Training/College Degree (preferred)
    • Construction/Mechanical Maintenance Background
    • Management/Supervisory Experience

    LANGUAGE AND COMMUNICATION SKILLS:

    • Effective writing and verbal skills
    • Effective computer and technical skills
    • Ability to communicate on all levels to promote team effort
    • Support the agency cause in action and communication

    ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

    • Required to be on-call 24/7; to include holidays
    • Will be equipped with a company smart phone
    • Must have valid driver's license with an excellent driving record

    This is a full-time salaried position with excellent benefits. Salary is commensurate with experience. Normal workweek is five days per week.
