Are you an Experienced Lead Construction Superintendent that is looking for a great opportunity?

Emerson Construction is looking for you! We are growing, and we are currently recruiting for Superintendents.

Our Superintendents are expected to lead by example, and direct the work performed on their jobsite. We expect that Superintendents are on their jobsites and not managing the project from the trailer.

The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:

• At least 5-10 years’ experience as a Lead Ground Up Superintendent working for a General Contractor.
• Ability to manage the job site, including subcontractors, material suppliers as well as job costs, as well as ensuring that the schedule is maintained for the job.
• Thorough understanding of plans and specifications with the ability to ensure that these are followed throughout the entire job.
• Strong Leadership and teamwork attitude.
• Proactive mindset to be able to head off potential problems and have a plan of action before the problem presents itself.
• Sense of urgency regarding required paperwork and daily office activities
• Ability to adhere to company’s Immigration Customs Enforcement policy
• Must have a Safety First Attitude at all times.

Candidates must be computer literate. You must be able to demonstrate the ability to successfully use Microsoft products, including but not limited to:

o MS Outlook
o MS Excel
o MS Word
o MS Project
You must also be able to take and email/upload digital photos and/or documents. As well as other miscellaneous computerized equipment.

Candidates should have the following training/certification certificates:

• Must have valid OSHA 30 Hr.
• SWPPP
• First Aid/CPR/AED training
• Competent Person
