Contracts Administrator - Construction jobs in Erie, PA

Job Summary:
We are seeking a Skilled Construction Tradesman to join our team. The right candidate will be responsible for assisting with various construction tasks and ensuring the smooth operation of the construction site. This is a hands-on role that requires physical strength, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team, as well as alone on projects.

Duties:
- Assist with the installation of flooring, including measuring, cutting, and laying materials
- Help with roof repairs and maintenance, including shingle replacement and patching
- Hang doors and ensure proper alignment and functionality
- Assist with frame carpentry, including measuring, cutting, and assembling wooden structures
- Perform construction painting tasks, including priming, painting, and touch-ups
- Assist with electrical work under the guidance of a licensed electrician
- Fabricate and install various fixtures and fittings
- Restore damaged structures by replacing or repairing damaged materials
- Assist with drywall installation and finishing

Qualifications:
- Proven experience in construction labor or a related field
-Ability to read blueprints
- Familiarity with roof repair and maintenance procedures
- Proficiency in frame carpentry
- Experience as a foreman is a plus
- Ability to fabricate and install fixtures according to specifications
- Driver's License Required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to $22.00 per hour
