Position Summary

We are looking for an experienced Project Engineer or Project Administrator to support our growing CEI department. The ideal candidate will be a licensed Professional Engineer, experienced as a PA and/or PE for the Florida Department of Transportation. The candidate will assist in managing our team of field inspectors and project administration staff on highway and bridge construction projects. Responsibilities will consist of monitoring project construction progress while managing multiple CEI projects and marketing upcoming CEI pursuits. The individual should be able to take ownership of CEI projects from start to finish. Additional responsibilities outlined below:

Key experience, skills and qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
Prior Experience as a CEI Project Engineer/Administrator on FDOT and/or County/Municipal projects
Problem Resolution Skills/Ability and confidence to recommend field changes to drawings/specifications
Superior Communication Skills, both Verbal and Written
FDOT Advanced MOT Certification
CTQP Quality Control Manager and CTQP Final Estimates II
Must pass mandatory DMV check
