  • We are seeking a dynamic Contracts Administrator with a focus on process improvement to join our team at Cherry Bekaert. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of contract management while driving continuous improvement initiatives to streamline the processes and enhance efficiency. This role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize contract workflows and implement best practices.

     

    Responsibilities:

    1. Develop and implement standardized contract management processes and procedures to ensure consistency and compliance across the organization.
    2. Develop, maintain and manage contract templates, standard operating procedures, and best practices for contract management.
    3. Manage contract administration processes, including tracking contract milestones, deadlines, and deliverables.
    4. Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including senior leadership, attorneys, and finance and IT teams, to ensure alignment on contract terms and conditions.
    5. Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains within the contract management function, leveraging technology and automation when possible.
    6. Monitor contract performance and address any issues or discrepancies in a timely manner.
    7. Conduct regular assessments of existing contract management practices to identify gaps, inefficiencies, and areas of improvement.
    8. Prepare and present reports to senior management on process improvement initiatives, outcomes and recommendations for future enhancements
    9. Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations related to contracts and make recommendations for process improvements.
    10. Assist with resolving contract disputes and claims, including conducting negotiations and facilitating resolution.

    Qualifications:

    1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Legal Studies, or related field. Advanced degree or certification in contract management or process improvement is a plus (e.g., CPCM, CFCM).
    2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in contract management, preferably in a professional services or accounting firm environment.
    3. Strong understanding of contract law principles and legal terminology.
    4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to diverse audiences.
    5. Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
    6. Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    7. Proficiency in contract management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
