Role Expectations
- Responsible for managing and maintaining the records in contract processes which include operational documents such as claims, tenders, and reports to business partners in Iron & Steel Project.
- Search for competitive vendors/suppliers and thus increase the vendor base.
- Effective management of vendors to ensure that the company gets preferential supply contracts at best prices
- To take initiative in developing long term relationship with key vendors.
- Clarification of tender and contract requirements with other processes or enterprises of the Company for negotiation scope and cost with required subcontractors, agents and partners for the Beneficiation plant.
- Day-to-day oversight and allocation of Contract Management tasks across team
to ensure delivery in line with terms.
- Preparation of proposal and contract specific documentation with the support of the
relevant business, operational or supporting departments, subcontractors and
partners.
- Making sure that all contracting activities are carried out in accordance with legislation & company policy Educational Qualifications - Masters / Bachelor's Degree (Preferably in Law/ SCM) - Degree / Diploma / Certification in Contracts Management Experience
The candidate must possess 12-15 years of relevant experience in Contract Management of an EPC Company involved in execution of large scale Mining & Steel Projects.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and capability to draft and review various contracts of Iron & Steel projects
- Ability to make good decisions under pressure as well as ability to accomplish multiple tasks in limited time frames.
