    As our Controller you will report directly to our Chief Financial Officer and will be responsible for financial reporting, financial analysis, budgeting & forecasting, internal controls, audit management, cash management, tax compliance, team leadership and financial systems & reporting. You must possess strong multi-tasking, excellent communication and organization skills.

    We are seeking an individual who has a superior customer service skillset; through written and verbal communication while, performing job duties where you will have pivot quickly due to changing priorities and last-minute shortened deadlines. Additionally: Our ideal Candidate must have demonstrated strong reconciliation, administrative proficiency consisting of attention to detail, a sense of responsibility, initiative, and advanced computer proficiency (Microsoft Excel/Office/Google Suite). You will lead and mentor a team of finance professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment, in addition to encouraging training & development for growth and opportunity.

    As part of our Dynamic Financial Team, you will:
    -Develop and maintain timely and accurate financial statements and reports that are appropriate for the users and in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
    Financial Reporting:
    · Prepare and analyze accurate and timely financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
    · Provide management with financial reports, budget variances, and forecasts, highlighting key performance metrics.
    Budgeting and Forecasting:
    · Collaborate with department heads to develop and monitor annual budgets.
    · Forecast financial trends and make recommendations for adjustments as needed to achieve financial goals.
    Financial Analysis:
    · Conduct in-depth financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.
    · Identify cost-saving opportunities and areas for operational improvement.
    Internal Controls:
    · Establish and maintain robust internal control policies and procedures to safeguard company assets.
    · Monitor compliance with financial policies and recommend improvements as necessary.
    Audit Management:
    · Coordinate and manage external audits, ensuring timely completion and compliance with audit requirements.
    · Address and resolve audit findings and recommendations.
    Cash Management:
    · Oversee cash flow management, including monitoring cash balances, investments, and short-term financing needs.
    · Optimize cash utilization to maximize returns and minimize costs.
    Tax Compliance:
    · Ensure compliance with all tax regulations and oversee the preparation and filing of tax returns.
    · Provide guidance on tax planning strategies to minimize tax liabilities.
    Team Leadership:
    · Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
    · Provide training and development opportunities to enhance team skills and knowledge.
    Financial Systems and Technology:
    · Evaluate and recommend improvements to financial systems and technology tools to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

    Essential qualifications:
    - Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
    - CPA certification preferably in the state of Florida.
    - 3-5 years of experience at minimum as an Audit Manager working on all aspects of audit.
    - Strong knowledge of financial services industry regulations and standards
    - Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data
    - Proven leadership abilities with the ability to effectively manage a team
    - Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
    - Strong attention to detail and accuracy
