Cooking Assistant prepares raw ingredients for use in recipes. Washes, chops, stores, and handles ingredients. Being a Cooking Assistant prepares portions of ingredients for workstations. May prepare sauces and garnishes or assist cook with basic recipes. Additionally, Cooking Assistant follows all applicable guidelines and regulations for food handling and safety. Typically requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Cooking Assistant works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. Office Assistant
Duties:
-interface with lawyers, clients, mental health professionals, school systems to make appointments, field inquiries and customer support.
-client billing support
- Perform some clerical duties organizing documents, organizing files, keeping track of documents
- Assist with project coordination as needed
- Provide excellent customer support and respond to inquiries via phone and email
- Assist with scheduling appointments and managing calendar
- Utilize QuickBooks for basic bookkeeping tasks
- Assist with receptionist duties in mental health office setting
- Travel arrangments when needed, but limited amount
- Marketing through social media and other networking opportunities (limited)
Requirements:
- Previous 5 years experience working in an office environment necessary, preferably a law office or medical office
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- QuickBooks for basic bookkeeping tasks a plus
- Familiarity with family law and/or mental health environment
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
- Willingness to learn new things and think outside the box
