Job Description:

As a member of the staff your daily tasks include maintaining a clean and safe environment for all animals both indoors and outdoors at all times. Cleaning involves the use of chemicals and equipment that must be used appropriately and with caution. Other tasks associated with the care of animals including handling, exercising, cleaning, feeding, giving medication including shots, and light grooming. All staff must always maintain a professional attitude and appearance. Staff must arrive on time for their shift and perform their tasks in a thorough and efficient manner in the expected amount of time. Staff must maintain a proactive approach to all activities in order to recognize and correct potential issues before they become a problem. Staff are expected to work independently and without supervision. Staff will be required to work shifts like 7:30 am — 3:30pm and 11 am — 7pm. These shifts will be on weekdays, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Customer interactions must be professional and respectful at all times. All customer information must be kept confidential at all times. The client list is the sole property of Woodcrest Kennel LLC and may not be removed from the property or used for personal reasons at any time.

Staff must have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
Kennel Staff must follow all kennel policies and procedures at all times.
Kennel Staff will also perform other duties as assigned.
The criminal history records check may be repeated at any time during employment and may be grounds for termination.
