Starting salary: $50,000 - $65,000 with a salary review in 90 days.

The Assistant Company has been hired by private Las Vegas family to find a reliable, mature and experienced Housekeeper. This position requires the housekeeper have in-depth knowledge of cleaning practices, organization, and laundering/dry cleaning. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provides meal and drink service to principles and their corporate or private guests
• Oversees other members of the housekeeping team to ensure daily checklists are completed timely and appropriately
• Helps perform various administrative duties
• Performs daily housekeeping duties including but not limited:
• Dusts and polishes furniture, woodwork, and lighting
• Vacuums carpeting, sweeps and mops floors
• Cleans, irons, folds and hangs laundry, and stores linens
• Cleans and sanitizes bathroom and kitchen surfaces and appliances
• Removes trash and other recyclables
• Maintains adequate supply of cleaning products
• Maintains and organizes stocked inventory of all cabinets, refrigerator and Pantry
• Notifies appropriate personnel of problems and issues associated with properties
• Provisions for groceries and performs errands, as directed
• Complies with company policies and procedures
• Performs other duties as needed

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 5 years as an Housekeeper either at a 5 star, high end hotel or private residence
• Or combination of equivalent experience, education, and training
• MUST CURRENTLY RESIDE IN LAS VEGAS

SKILLS:

• Proficient use of MS Office Products and Apple Devices
• Experience using Quicken application
• English speaking, writing, and reading comprehension; active listening; organization; coordination; and attention to detail
• Spanish speaker
• Management or Supervision of 5 employees High level of confidentiality at all times.
• Self-starting and able to think on your feet to respond quickly to all assigned tasks

WORKING CONDITIONS:

• Intermittently lift, carry, push, and pull up to 30 pounds
• Frequently see, sit, balance, grasp, and have repetitive use of arms, wrists, hands, and fingers
• Occasionally talk and hear
• Intermittently stand, stoop, bend, twist, crouch, kneel, crawl, walk, climb stairs and ladders, operate foot and hand controls, squeeze, and reach above shoulders
• Exposure to electrical equipment, low to medium noise levels, and indoor and outdoor temperatures of heat and cold
• Frequent use of computer
• Travel to other properties as needed for short periods of time (2-3 days at a time)

Pay: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
