Job Description
An employee from another company or independent worker performing work or providing services as part of their agreement with TTUHSC. Supports the program director by performing administrative duties related to planning, directing and coordinating both the academic and operational activities of the program.
Responsibilities and Duties
1. Serves as a key participant with senior leadership and faculty in the implementation of the medical school curriculum. 2. In cooperation with the senior leadership, create course calendar, oversee posting of course calendar, monitor calendar and timelines for CHAMP and Canvas. 3. Serve as liaison between the Department of Medical Education and course directors and faculty and also with staff supporting CHAMP in the IT department. 4. Managing all entries to CHAMP and assuring that entries are current, accurate, and consistent with agreed upon format and styles. Entries include but are not limited to: course calendar/schedule, room assignments, PowerPoint presentations, reading assignments, course objectives, video files and web links etc. 5. Scheduling of rooms appropriate for scheduled educational activities (e.g., lecture halls, small group rooms, labs, etc.) as requested by faculty. 6. As requested generate reports documenting curriculum implementation, examination results(aggregate and individual), and evaluation results. 7. Responsible for obtaining final semester grades and enter them onto Banner by established deadlines. Employee will be expected to follow FERPA and HIPPA standards of confidentiality. 8. Participate in exam proctoring as a regular member of the 'proctor pool' as assigned. 9. Validate and/ or create Pre-Clerkship courses during roll-over period within Banner system for upcoming school year. 10. Other duties as assigned.
Required Skills
Excellent computer skills including proficiency in Word, Power Point, Excel,. Excellent written and oral communication, and strong critical thinking skills. Ability to work as a team member and to cross-train with other course support program coordinators. Ability to work with minimal supervision. Desired Education
