Qualifications :
Minimum of 5 years teaching or related experience in Education or Special Education, 045, 040 or 035 administrator certification, or relevant experience related to position.
Summary : Saco’s Summer Program Coordinator will have in-depth knowledge and experience education with a passion for driving students of all abilities to reach their potential.
The Coordinator serves as the lead administrator and contact person for the entirety of the summer session between staff, students, families, and schools.
This position serves as a liaison between multiple programs and stakeholders, including curricular oversight, transportation, nutrition services and facilities.
In conjunction with the Director of Special Services, Assistant Director of Special Services and the Assistant Superintendent, plan for and support an engaging, rigorous, and supportive program for all students.
Job Functions :
Strong planning and organizational skills.Ability to work with all levels of staff in a collaborative manner.Good verbal and written communication skills with attention to details.
Ability to make effective decisions based on board policy and school procedures.Serve as the contact person for staff and parents during the summer session.
Act as a liaison between transportation, nutrition services, and facilities.Oversee and supervise instructional and behavioral programs to ensure all obligations to the are met.
