POS Scan Coordinator
  • Los Alamos Cooperative Market

    • Possess a working knowledge of Catapult, ECRS, LMBX, and other programs
    • Develop, monitor and maintain all necessary product information in POS system, ensuring accuracy and integrity
    • Responsible for the deployment of monthly price change files
    • Train new staff on Catapult functions, Dropbox use and email navigation
    • Develop, monitor and maintain all necessary product information for Perpetual Inventory and Auto Ordering, ensures accuracy in purchase orders and commitments
    • Coordinate and implement daily, weekly, and monthly price changes of both regular and sale prices
    • Enter new products as needed; validates shelf and sale prices, performs audits when necessary
    • Print and maintain shelf tags and labels, create sale batches and maintain sale signage
    • Work with other managers to identify and resolve problem areas throughout the handheld and other scanning systems, developing storewide policies when necessary
    • Work with Front End Manager to ensure that the registers are running accurately and smoothly and helps address cashier, customer service and front office concerns
    • Produce reports as requested by department heads, including but not limited to, transactions, Co-op Basics, register audits, non-local weekly sales items
    • Be proactive with regard to creative self-learning and professional development
    • Attend all required meetings, trainings, seminars and workshops
    • Assist & partner with HR, Finance & Marketing in all POS functions
    • Ensure ECR report templates support organizational needs
    • Coordinate inventories and all tasks involved from set-up to reporting

    ·         Ability To Be Organized And To Pay Attention To Detail And Handle Multiple Demands

    • Familiarity and knowledge of current trends in the natural foods industry
    • Experience serving the public
