This position will work specifically with the Nutrient Management Program. The goal of the Nutrient Management Program is to improve water quality in Delaware while maintaining the profitability of agriculture and other businesses involved in land application of nutrients. Under the general direction of the Nutrient Management Specialist (Professor, Plant and Soil Sciences), the Program Coordinator will provide day to day support of operations and manage specific programs in support of the Specialist. A limited amount of direct educational programming will occur around nutrient management. This is a grant-funded position and reappointment will be contingent on availability of funds and satisfactory performance.
