POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team at YBI for our youth.

program. As a Youth Program Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in helping us achieve our

mission of providing access to virtual reality technology and STEM education to

students.

YOUTH COORDINATOR – RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist in the planning and coordination of virtual reality and STEM education programs for students

• Lead entrepreneurship workshops and virtual reality field trips

• Help with outreach and recruitment efforts to identify and engage with students from diverse backgrounds

• Collaborate with team members to develop program curriculum and educational materials

• Support the development and maintenance of relationships with community partners and stakeholders

• Responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of virtual reality equipment, ensuring its proper functioning and cleanliness

• Assist in the setup and breakdown of program events and activities

• Collect and analyze data on program impact and effectiveness

• Provide general administrative support to the team as needed

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

• Passion for equity in education and providing opportunities for underrepresented youth

• Strong organizational and communication skills

• Ability to work independently and in a team environment

• Familiarity with virtual reality technology and STEM education preferred but not Required

• Comfortable working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment

• Proficient in organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multi-task

• Works productively

• Demonstrates good judgment, decision-making and confidentiality

• Possesses good verbal and written communication skills, ability to command a classroom

• Capable of using G Suites for Calendar, Email, Docs, Drive.
