Job Summary/Description:

WALB is seeking a full-time team member to serve as a resource for sales members and sales managers. This position will support the sales staff, sales management, and other departments with orders, viewership data, presentations and reporting.

WALB Sales Department is seeking a friendly, positive, self-motivated individual whose primary responsibility will be to provide a variety of support to the sales department. You must thrive in a team environment, have a strong work ethic, be detail-oriented, and be able to work independently in a fast-paced work culture. The Sales Specialist position is vital in helping the Station's sales department by providing updated presentations, grab-and-go sales material, updated inventory, and data each month and reporting for client success meetings. Duties/Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

▪️ High level of raw data entry in multiple systems.
▪️ Ability to troubleshoot problems and find solutions using video tutorials, help desk tickets and other training materials available.
▪️ Interpreting raw data into easy-to-read sales material.
▪️ Campaign pre and post sales maintenance.
▪️ Creating and pulling sales reports.
▪️ Creating and pulling avails for both Broadcast & Digital delivery.
▪️ Efficiently and effectively execute new and revised digital orders.
▪️ Strategize successful multi-media campaigns and plans based on client needs and the organization's strategic objectives.
▪️ Communicate effectively and closely with AE’s and external teams.
▪️ Update Teams and other sales resources with the most up-to-date numbers and data.
▪️ Be a champion in finding new cutting-edge marketing strategies.
▪️ Event coordination between sales and marketing for special sales projects.
▪️ Create Top Notch One sheets and presentations for AE’s and Department heads to present to clients and to the community.

Qualifications/Requirements:

▪️ Prior clerical work experience in office setting is preferred.
▪️ Proficient working knowledge of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
▪️ Excellent data entry skills.
▪️ Must be customer service oriented and have experience working with the public.
▪️ Must have strong attention to detail, and maintain accurate records.
▪️ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
▪️ Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize.
▪️ Ability to meet tight deadlines work well under pressure and have good problem-solving skills.
▪️ Ability to work independently with little supervision, yet committed to team environment.
▪️ Must have excellent time management and organizational skills.
▪️ Must be dependable and punctual.
▪️ Must represent company with professionalism and integrity.
▪️ Must maintain a high level of confidentiality.
▪️ Clean Driving Record & dependable transportation.
