    In this role, you will support the vision and goals of the HHT Fireplace Business Unit by creating content that shares our story and vision, promotes our brand, and makes an impact across many different online and offline platforms. The content you will create will align with digital trends, brand and content guidelines, and best practices.

    What you will do:

    • Create content that motivates, inspires, educates, informs, sells, and simplifies information and messaging across a wide variety of digital platforms and offline mediums.
    • Responsible for communicating our brand story, and performing online and offline copywriting for web pages, landing pages, digital ads, social media messaging, email content, events, online funnel, UX-friendly CTA copy, point-of-sale materials, promotions, and other brand marketing copywriting.
    • Ensure content is consistent across all platforms such as Web, email communication, digital ads, social media, product collateral and documentation.
    • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of Fireplace Business Unit product rollout Marcomm process and be the owner of Product Content Guides for new and updated products.
    • Conceptualize and develop creative ways to engage our online target market and drive desired user behavior.
    • Gain a strong understanding of our consumers, and the ability to anticipate their needs by understanding behavior, as well as consumer thoughts and trends.
    • Interpret creative briefs to develop and produce creative concepts through execution. Presenting creative concepts and final deliverables.
    • Use skills in editing; content development, management, and curation; and knowledge of SEO to create content that attracts, influences, converts, and creates brand authority and leadership.
    • Partner consistently with Digital, Trade and Category teams in the development of creative campaigns and copy in alignment with our brands.
    • Source and select content from vendors, consumers, and other sources that guides targeted content creation and contributes to brand awareness.
    • Partner with Digital Experience Team to track, inform, and optimize content improvement opportunities, which will include elimination of obsolete content, identification of new needs, and modification of existing content.
    Minimum Qualifications:
    • Bachelor’s degree in journalism, English, communication, or related discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience
    • 5 or more years of professional copywriting experience with a diverse portfolio demonstrating digital expertise and conceptual thinking
    • Demonstrated history working within Project Management systems (e.g., Asana, Basecamp, Workfront, Wrike, or similar systems)
    • Proofreading experience and familiarity with brand standards and style guides
    • Solid understanding of SEO and SEM fundamentals
    • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
    • Social Media and content marketing experience
    • Strong communication skills with emphasis in exceptional writing ability
    • Strong ability to write compelling headlines and email subject lines
    • Excellent content presentation, content delivery, and content monetization skills
    • Storytelling ability – e.g., writing for storyboards and video scripts
    • Strong research and editing skills
