CopyWriter - Digital jobs in Oakland, CA

We are looking for a passionate, experienced Copywriter to join our
growing Creative Marketing team! You will assist our team by writing
and curating a variety of website, marketing, and communications
content. Other daily responsibilities will include writing, editing,
and proofreading content for numerous clients, both internal and
external, while working closely with our Content

Responsibilities:

- Write high-quality content quickly and accurately for a broad audience range.
- Write for new and traditional channels including digital and social
media, as well as printed sales materials.
- Write both short and long form copy. Examples might include:
marketing collateral, product descriptions, email campaigns, blogs,
articles, press releases, etc.

- Create high-quality, error-free copy with an understanding of brand
messaging.Director, our Social Media team, and our Graphic Designers.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree preferred (emphasis in journalism, communications,
marketing, etc.).
- At least 1 year of professional experience writing for various
industries/company types.
- Strong existing body of work (hard samples or online portfolio required).
- Adaptable writing style to matching corporate brands and audience.
- Experience writing for multiple channels (digital, print, etc.).
- Excellent research skills and the ability to quickly learn facts and
information.
- Work collaboratively as a valued Marketing Team member.
