POSITION SUMMARY:
Ethika is seeking a creative and versatile Copywriter to join our team, specializing in crafting compelling copy for social media, ecommerce, and product. The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of language, a keen understanding of digital marketing principles, and the ability to adapt their writing style to suit various platforms and target audiences.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Develop engaging and persuasive copy for social media channels (such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.) that aligns with brand voice, objectives, and target audience demographics.
· Write clear, concise, and impactful product descriptions for e-commerce platforms that highlight key features, benefits, and unique selling points.
· Collaborate with the content team to brainstorm and develop creative content ideas for social media campaigns, promotions, and advertisements.
· Conduct thorough research to understand market trends, consumer behavior, and competitor strategies, leveraging insights to optimize copywriting efforts.
· Ensure consistency in messaging and brand voice across all communication channels, maintaining brand identity and integrity.
· Edit and proofread copy to ensure accuracy, grammar, and adherence to brand guidelines before publishing.
· Stay up-to-date with industry best practices, emerging trends, and platform updates to continuously improve copywriting strategies and techniques.
· Work closely with designers, photographers, and other team members to integrate copy seamlessly into visual content.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
· Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, or related field (preferred).
· Proven experience as a Copywriter, preferably in a digital marketing or e-commerce environment.
· Strong understanding of SEO principles and how to optimize copy for search engines.
· Proficiency in using social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer) and e-commerce platforms.
· Creative thinking and problem-solving skills, with a passion for storytelling and brand building.
· Ability to work both independently and collaboratively, taking initiative and meeting deadlines effectively.
· Portfolio showcasing previous work samples, demonstrating versatility in writing style and proficiency across different platforms.
