What You Will Do Collaborates with designers, strategists, content specialists, and leaders in a cross-functional, cross-divisional environment to solve problems creatively and create ad concepts in order to produce the strongest creative work possible. Concepts and writes for all types of advertising/marketing projects such as: print ads, product collateral, email campaigns, banner ads, outdoor/out-of-home, corporate websites, web landing pages, articles, scripts, TV and radio/video scripts, blog posts, social media, etc.—with a heavy focus on digital placements. Creates original concepts, for clear, concise and convincing writing that is grammatically correct, materially accurate based on research, applies appropriate brand tone/voice, adheres to compliance guidelines, leverages design and digital best practices, “fits” the intended media, includes strong call-to-action that produces intended results. Effective at estimating communicating turnaround times, capacity, and dependencies as well as maintaining accurate project records, reporting and project time tracking. Join other copywriters and colleagues in sharing best practices and working through creative challenges to establish creative/messaging strategies, communication hierarchies and tactics, presenting work with strong verbal and written rationales. Conduct internal or external research and/or interviews to develop copy that is strategically sound. Exhibit subject matter expertise in compliance guidelines, product details, customer experience, and communication best practices by media channel – whether traditional or digital Exemplifies people attributes to support Allianz’s culture to include entrepreneurship, trust, customer and market excellence, and collaborative leadership May perform other duties as assigned. What You Will Bring Three (3) to five (5) years’ demonstrated experience in creative copywriting, preferably at an advertising/marketing agency or in-house agency Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications or PR, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Talent, judgment and imagination to create ideas and words for the creation of marketing communications and direct response advertisements Knowledge of proper writing mechanics and prose; punctuation, spelling, structure and organization of writing, etc. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel; MAC and PC Experience working with Adobe Creative Cloud applications and/or content management software such as Wordpress is a plus.
