The Copywriter will report to the Creative Director in Austin, TX and will be responsible for playing a critical role in the ideation, storytelling, and copywriting of YETI's best-in-class marketing. We are looking for a versatile writer who can maneuver between writing longform stories, but also bringing a story or campaign to life through succinct and hardworking email and marketing communications across multiple channels. This is essentially the decathlon of writing.
A successful candidate will have a portfolio showing compelling stories of any length, as well as proven chops for writing product copy, headlines, and integrating messaging from a campaign across multiple marketing touchpoints (email, site, social). This candidate should have a deep understanding of messaging strategy and consider crafting language to fit different outputs to be a puzzle that brings joy. The ideal candidate is obsessed with diction and has a knack for grammar, spelling, sentence structure, and non-formulaic writing.
