DESCRIPTION

We’re looking for a talented and curious copywriter who’s brimming with great concepts. A big-idea machine with an equal amount of love for the craft of writing. Ad agency experience is necessary, along with a strategic mind and detail-oriented work ethic. Has keen awareness of the latest integrated advertising and digital trends, plus social media culture. Most important, comes with an envy-invoking portfolio that demonstrates a range of work on integrated campaigns and great writing samples. You’ll be helping to ensure the success of high-profile advertising and branding projects for brands we’ve all heard about, especially in the health and wellness space.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

B.A. in English, journalism, advertising, marketing or related field of study and/or a combination of education and relevant experience

KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS

5-7 years experience. Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and grammar skills; health and wellness and technology experience a plus with portfolio samples preferred but not mandatory; Office/Google Docs proficiency required

KEY DUTIES

• Understand and decipher creative briefs and be able to generate ideas that work across mediums
• Write, edit, and assist ACD, CD and/or ECD in developing brand and ad campaigns
• Follow brand guidelines while developing work
• Ensure all creative adheres to production policies and client guidelines
• Ensure timely delivery of work
• Other duties as directed by Executive Management

OTHER KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Consistent, accurate use of time billing software and file management systems
• Timely project updates to ACD/Executive Creative Director
• Spending time understanding the business needs of the clients/projects and applying those learnings
• Team relationship building
• Client presentation skills
