Title : Data Engineer

Location: Lake Jackson, TX ( Onsite )

Full time

Responsibilities:

• Minimum 8 years of experience as a Data Engineer or similar role.
• Expertise in MS SQL Server, including T-SQL programming to create Stored procedures, functions.
• Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
• Develop data models and implement data transformations and using SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS)
• Write and execute complex SQL/MDX/DAX queries to extract and manipulate data from various sources.
• Utilize Python for data processing and scripting tasks to enhance the data pipeline functionalities (Expertise in Pandas or similar data processing libraries)
• Configure and manage AWS services including RDS, Glue, Step Functions, DMS
• Snowflake development for data storage, transformation, and orchestration. Data ingestion, performance and cost optimization.
• Implement data quality checks and monitoring procedures to ensure data integrity.
• Collaborate with Business team and Architects to understand data needs and translate them into technical solutions.
• Document data pipelines and processes for future reference and maintainability.

Other Skills:

• Experience with other data warehousing solutions (e.g., Redshift, BigQuery, Oracle)
• Experience with cloud orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow)
• Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI
