                        Brand Copywriter

Seeking a Brand Copywriter in Johnson City, TN at our Marketing Office. Office hours typically 8 to 5, Monday through Friday.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develops compelling and effective writing that achieves the objectives identified in creative briefs and project meetings.
• Able to take detailed complex concepts and transforming them into creative ideas, while maintaining brand and messaging standards.
• Ensure all content is on brand, consistent in terms of style, quality, and tone of voice, and optimized for search and user experience for all channels of content including online social media, video, and print.
• Research and understand a client’s needs and target audiences, through online searches, reviews of existing research, interviews with patients, physicians, or others, and in-person meetings.
• Develop content across digital platforms, including website, landing pages, social media, online advertisements. Blog etc. and with all content types.
• Write original copy and edit content for a range of marketing products, blogs, and other communications and materials.
• Collaborate with the marketing team members from concept development to delivery of final product. 
• Apply SEO best practices to generate traffic to our website, incorporating keywords. Stellar attention to detail.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Four year degree from an accredited university (or the equivalent) in journalism, English, communications, or related discipline.  A minimum of five years full-time experience in writing as a journalist with knowledge of digital content writing.

EXPERIENCE:

• Two or more years of professional copywriting experience with solid portfolio of work.  Exceptional writing and research skills, the ability to work independently or within a team to meet deadlines, and excellent organizational and multitasking skills. Proofreading experience and familiarity with standard style guides, experience with content management systems, and a keen eye for detail and appreciation for design.  Additionally, advanced computer software skills are required.
