    About the Role

    Torus is looking for an experienced and data-driven Sr. Director of Digital Marketing to join our Growth team, reporting to the Head of Growth. This hands-on role will be primarily responsible for all technical aspects of the top of funnel development and Marketing Tech that supports the funnel. The Sr. Director of Digital Marketing will also be responsible for developing and managing the technical side of both direct and organic traffic growth. They will work closely with the Inside Sales, Growth and Executive leadership teams to drive conversion through the funnel through obtaining more aligned prospects.

    Responsibilities

    • Develop and run Torus’ SEO, SEM & PPC strategies, preferably without needing a firm or consultant.
    • Independently create and execute on strategic cross-functional planning.
    • Own development and maintenance of Torus “solutions pages”.
    • Serve as key member of the Growth team, making decisions on funnel structure and flow.
    • Directly responsible for organic & direct traffic performance and sub-metrics.
    • Own core-site & solutions pages analytic platform & data structure, acting as the point person for Google Console and Google Analytics.
    • Develop & foster a mindset around Marketing accountability for quarterly & yearly goals.

    Experience You’ll Need 

    • 5 years of relevant web, marketing and e-commerce experience.
    • Prior experience entirely managing an e-commerce website required.
    • Experience managing and optimizing website conversion funnels.
    • Advanced experience managing Google Analytics & Google Console.
    • Strong understanding of SEO/SEM principles.
    • Experience with tools like Hotjar or Google Optimize for A/B testing.

    Experience That'll Set You Apart

    • HTML knowledge is strongly preferred.
    • Web development background is a plus.
    • Knowledge of agile methodologies is a plus.

    • A self-starter who can find and solve problems without guidance.
    • Able to live in the weeds while quickly zooming in and out of company revenue strategy.
    • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects at once.
    • Work cross-functionally with multiple leaders and peers.
    • Technically-minded but with great EQ.
    • Comfortable working in startup environment.
