Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and creative individual to join the team at Kingsmill Resort as a Digital Content Marketing Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing our social and digital marketing efforts of the resort and membership areas with a primary focus on content creation. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and execute content strategies that drive engagement, brand awareness, and conversions across various digital platforms. This position will report directly to the Vice President of Sales & Marketing.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive digital content strategies aligned with company objectives and target audience preferences.
- Create engaging and high-quality content for our social media channels, website, blog, email campaigns, and other digital platforms.
- Utilize analytics tools to monitor and analyze performance metrics, including engagement, reach, conversions, and ROI, to measure the effectiveness of content marketing initiatives.
- Identify trends and insights from data analysis to optimize content strategies, distribution channels, and audience targeting for maximum impact.
- Collaborate with ad and PR agencies, videographers, and other content creators to produce multimedia content that resonates with our audience.
- Monitor and analyze performance metrics to measure the effectiveness of content marketing initiatives and make data-driven decisions for optimization.
- Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in content marketing and social media to continuously improve our strategies.
- Manage social media accounts, including scheduling posts, responding to comments, and engaging with followers to foster community growth and brand advocacy.
- Work closely with the sales and marketing team to integrate content marketing efforts with overall marketing campaigns and initiatives.
- Develop and maintain content calendars, editorial schedules, and production timelines to ensure timely delivery of content.
- Collaborate with all areas of the resort, membership and realty sectors to align content with new offerings, promotions, and other initiatives.
- Stay informed about relevant industry regulations and guidelines to ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards in content creation and distribution.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or related field.
- Proven experience in digital marketing, use of analytics, content creation, and social media management. Preferably in a hospitality resort setting.
- Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to craft compelling and engaging content for diverse audiences.
- Proficiency in using content management systems (CMS), social media management tools (Meta), and analytics tools such as GA4.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail and design.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of SEO best practices and principles.
- Experience with graphic design, video editing, or other multimedia content creation tools is desirable.
