What You’ll Do
We are seeking a Digital Analytics Manager in our Midvale, Utah location. This is an exciting opportunity to join our organization at a major growth stage that will have a lasting impact. This person will be responsible for developing and implementing new reporting systems, practices and data analysis to support and collaborate with decision-makers across the organization. They will work with business leaders to understand their data needs and develop insights and solutions to improve the customer experience, grow the business, and increase profitability.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a blend of strategic and technical work, as it will involve both identifying opportunities to use data to improve the business and then building the tools or solutions needed to capitalize on those opportunities and manage reporting systems.
You will:
- Develop and implement new reporting systems, practices and data analysis to support and collaborate with decision-makers across the organization
- Serve as the primary data point of contact for multiple teams responsible for the Digital business for ZAGG.com
- Lead development of best-in-class measurement frameworks for evaluating key input and output factors, improving financial performance and customer experience metrics
- Build and maintain reporting in our business intelligence platforms (including PowerBI, Google Analytics 4, and revenue attribution tools)
- Identify opportunities to use data to improve performance across the business, either by surfacing insights (i.e., improve decisions) or building tools
- Prioritize tasks and projects to ensure that the most important needs are addressed first
- Build and maintain data models to transform raw data into actionable insights
- Support and execute building ecommerce tool sets on ecommerce platforms, Google Analytics, testing software (e.g. VWO, Intellimize, Optimizely) and Google Tag Manager
- Create and maintain relevant reports and KPIs that detail the effectiveness and business impact from digital merchandising and marketing activities to better understand customer behavior
- Drive the business forward through innovation, new trends and initiatives in the market
- Actively look for new product ideas and opportunities
- Willing to take on other projects as assigned
What You’ll Need to be Successful
- 5-7 years of experience in an analytical role (data science/analytics, web analytics, ecommerce in direct-to-consumer businesses is strongly preferred)
- Ability to understand the data needs of less data-savvy business leaders across the organization and design and build reporting or develop insights to meet those needs
- Experience analyzing data to draw conclusions or identify insights
- Familiarity with ecommerce pricing, assortment, fulfillment, and inventory management strategies
- Thorough understanding of Financial KPIs, P&L statement, and assortment management metrics
- Ability to take vague questions, problems, or goals and identify the specific action(s) needed to answer, solve, or reach them
- Experience using SQL to query and manipulate data is preferred
- Experience working with business intelligence / visualization tools is preferred (PowerBI and similar tools)
- Experience working with cloud data warehouses (e.g. Snowflake ) or data transformation tools
- Experience with customer base segmenting, using 1st and 3rd party data enrichments
- Experience evaluating digital advertising campaign performance including various revenue attribution models
- Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to take ownership
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience working in consumer technology or CPG products industry highly preferred
