Corporate Compliance Director manages the compliance programs, policies, reporting, and practices for an organization or business. Ensures that all activities follow regulatory requirements related to the governance of the organization as well as any industry-specific or location-specific laws. Being a Corporate Compliance Director oversees internal controls and auditing systems that monitor and report on regulated activities and processes. Implements risk-based compliance testing of existing procedures and controls to identify, detect, and correct noncompliance. Additionally, Corporate Compliance Director evaluates and implements changes to compliance processes due to new or amended regulations. Delivers communication and training initiatives that inform stakeholders about compliance requirements. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Corporate Compliance Director typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be a Corporate Compliance Director typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience.     Job description (Position: Manager – Compliance Company Affairs / Legal) 

     

    Summary: In this position you will oversee company Compliance, ISO 9001, Client care, Internal Audits, Claim Handling, Legal compliance, and support in corporate affairs.  

     

    Responsibilities 

    • Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local safety laws, regulations, codes, and rules.  
    • Identifies opportunities to minimize workplace injuries, accidents, and health problems.  
    • Provides technical and administrative support to the operations.  
    • Conducts internal audits, safety inspections, and audits to assess employee compliance with safety regulations.  
    • Reviews accident and incident reports.  
    • Submission of the accident and incident claims.  
    • Support in renewal of insurance auto, cargo, general, and workman’s comp.  
    • Supporting activities on contract risk and compliancecontract audits and monitoring  
    • Oversee vendor renewal and close-out process and supporting in closing contracts.   
    • Review of new contracts to ensure the compliance of laws and regulations.  
    • Complying with company policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.

    • Extensive knowledge of current company safety policies and applicable Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) standards.

    Education and Experience: 

    • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field, or equivalent work experience, required. 
    • At least three years managing all phases of office management is highly preferred. 

    Physical Requirements:  

    • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. 
    • Must be able to lift 10-15 pounds at times.
