Corporate Compliance Director manages the compliance programs, policies, reporting, and practices for an organization or business. Ensures that all activities follow regulatory requirements related to the governance of the organization as well as any industry-specific or location-specific laws. Being a Corporate Compliance Director oversees internal controls and auditing systems that monitor and report on regulated activities and processes. Implements risk-based compliance testing of existing procedures and controls to identify, detect, and correct noncompliance. Additionally, Corporate Compliance Director evaluates and implements changes to compliance processes due to new or amended regulations. Delivers communication and training initiatives that inform stakeholders about compliance requirements. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Corporate Compliance Director typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be a Corporate Compliance Director typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience.     Job Summary
    Partner with the Chief Compliance Officer in monitoring and executing the overall consumer compliance program and consumer compliance strategy of the Bank

    Essential Duties & Responsibilities
    · Ongoing review, implementation, maintenance and administration of the Compliance Program
    · Provide day-to-day support and guidance to the Compliance team through review of day-to-day work and serve as a resource when questions arise
    · Develop and adjust, as needed, the compliance review schedule
    · Assign routine and special tasks to the compliance staff
    · Maintain current knowledge of current, new, and/or amended consumer compliance regulations
    · Monitor the regulatory environment through reading, research, networking, in order to help prepare and protect the Bank from any increased scrutiny that may be developing
    · Participate in Bank and Compliance related governance and oversight meetings, as required
    · Serve as back-up compliance officer
    · Complete compliance risk assessments, monitoring, reviews and audits
    · Work with Bank departments to answer routine questions and provide support when implementing new or redesigned products, policies and procedures to ensure regulatory compliance requirements are maintained
    · Assist in the preparation and execution of consumer compliance related exams and audits
    · Assist with special projects such as mergers and acquisitions

    Supervisory Requirements
    Personnel Management: Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and
    directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
    Process Management: Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the bank’s policies and applicable laws.

    Education and Qualifications
    Essential:
    · High school education and diploma
    · Bachelor’s degree or related field or equivalent education or experience
    · BSA and other Bank related training through BAI is required annually
    Desirable:
    · Completion of a foundational compliance school

    Experience
    Essential:
    · Five or more years in field or closely related area
    · Knowledge of customer service principles
    · Relevant computer skills
    Desirable:
    · One or more years of supervisory experience
    · Two or more years compliance work at an institution with at least $1 billion in assets

    Licenses and Certifications
    Essential:
    Desirable: Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM)
