Claiborne Senior Living is hiring a Controller at our home office in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. The Controller is responsible for the company financial and accounting procedures. They hold accountability for all accounting functions including financial reporting, tax, audits, payroll and overall financial management of the business. They establish and maintain cash controls an reconciliation of bank statements and general ledgers. They assist senior management in the preparation of the organization’s annual budget and annual audit. This position will report directly to the CFO.
Qualifications Include:
· Qualified Controller with a minimum 2 years’ experience in an accounting/financial management role ideally with a mix
· of experience in a major accounting services organization.
· Solid understanding of all aspects of finance and controlling
· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, Professional level accounting qualification (Perferred)
· A self-motivated and ambitious individual keen to develop their career with a growing company.
· Highest standards of accuracy and precision; highly organized.
· Ability to think analytically, creatively and critically.
· Highly driven and self-motivated.
· Experience with financial planning and analysis functions, including annual budget, capital budgeting, and resource allocation processes.
