Corporate Compliance Officer - Healthcare jobs in New Brunswick, NJ

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute to the development of comprehensive compliance programs covering legal requirements, internal policies, business practices, and ethical standards.
• Assist in overseeing compliance initiatives by establishing and maintaining effective monitoring controls.
• Analyze compliance-related data and metrics to facilitate informed decision-making and presentations.
• Contribute to the design and implementation of educational and training programs on compliance topics.
• Manage the registration and maintenance of domestic and international legal entities, ensuring compliance with regulatory filings and documentation.
• Administer routine transactions such as company formation, mergers, withdrawals, and annual reports in collaboration with external counsel.
• Engage in industry benchmarking and professional development to stay abreast of ethics and compliance best practices.
• Undertake additional duties and projects as needed.

Qualifications

Education:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• J.D. with 10-15 years of practice required.

Work Experience

• 10 years of relevant experience within an in-house legal team at a large corporation, government entity, or nonprofit organization required.
• Member in good standing of NY or NJ bar required.

Licenses and Certifications

• Admission to practice law in NY or NJ required.
• CCEP or similar compliance-related certification preferred.

Skills and Requirements

• Extensive experience in organizational compliance and investigative governance.
• Proven ability to work autonomously and manage complex tasks involving multiple stakeholders.
• Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Demonstrated capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment while fostering collaboration across interdisciplinary teams within Legal and Compliance and operational units.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to $230,000.00 per year
