Corporate Compliance Officer - Healthcare jobs in Philadelphia, PA

Leadnomics is looking for a Corporate and Compliance Counsel to join our remote team. This person will be involved in business and compliance support for our growing lead generation and eCommerce business and other legal matters and procedures across our businesses. This role will continually evolve and expand as the company grows.

The ideal candidate for this position will have extensive knowledge of the affiliate marketing industry, excellent organization, prioritization, and communication skills and strong attention to detail. Additionally, they must have the ability to meet deadlines consistently and work well under pressure. The ideal candidate is excited about being our sole in-house attorney and making an immediate impact.

Requirements include:

• BA/BS
• JD
• Understanding the dynamics of the lead generation industry, including its challenges, trends, and regulatory environment
• Knowledge of specific laws and regulations related to lead generation and digital marketing

The position reports directly to our CEO and responsibilities include:

• Contract Negotiation and Management: Draft, review, and negotiate contracts with clients, vendors, and partners. Also, manage all existing contracts to ensure they remain favorable and compliant
• Compliance Management: Ensure that all business operations are compliant with relevant laws and regulations, particularly those related to lead generation and digital marketing
• Risk Management: Identify potential legal risks and develop strategies to mitigate them
• Lead on company insurance renewals 
• Intellectual Property Protection: Protect the company's intellectual property rights, including trademarks, patents, and copyrights
• Working with specialized outside counsel
• Monitoring the latest privacy law developments
• Organizing corporate filings

Preferences include:

• Compliance experience either in-house or in the law firm setting
• Experience in an entrepreneurial setting
• Prior experience advising an executive group on legal matters
