    Qualification/Responsibilities:

    • Ability to travel and work throughout the area of assignment
    • Must possess a current, unencumbered, active license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of employment
    • Must have, as a minimum, two (2) year of recent experience in a Director of Nursing role in a nursing care facility or the similar
    • Previous Long Term Care Experience is strongly preferred
    • Understand federal, state and rules and regulations, and survey practices in your assigned area
    • Organize, develop and direct the overall operations of the Nursing Service Department in accordance with current federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations that govern the facility
    • Work directly with the Administrator and the Medical Director to ensure the highest degree of quality of care is maintained for each resident at all times.
    • History of excellent quality and survey outcome
