Corporate Construction Manager oversees construction projects and operations to meet the organization's financial and growth objectives and fulfill client contractual requirements. Follows established quality, performance, and safety standards and procedures for operations. Being a Corporate Construction Manager reviews and approves procurement of required material, equipment, subcontractors, and worker resources. Provides project updates and communicates with clients, contractors, governmental or regulatory officials, and other stakeholders. Additionally, Corporate Construction Manager builds effective team capacity to plan and implement construction projects. Ensures all permits, licenses, or certifications required by regulatory authorities are obtained. Establishes and enforces safety protocols and procedures to provide safe job sites and minimize risk. Monitors costs and timelines and submits required progress reports to deliver projects on time and within budget. Implements best practice construction methods to improve efficiency, productivity, and project outcomes. Requires a bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field. Typically reports to senior management. The Corporate Construction Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Corporate Construction Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1-3 years supervisory experience may be required.     Responsibilities:

    The Corporate Accounts Manager is responsible for serving our corporate clients by diligently assisting them with all aspects of the rental process. Other responsibilities include:

    • Serve as the primary point of contact for corporate accounts.
    • Engage in professional and timely external and internal communication to meet customer needs.
    • Cultivate relationships with established corporate clients.
    • Retain all corporate customers as satisfied repeat customers.
    • Maintain updated profiles for each corporate account.
    • Take vehicle reservations and record them in our rental software.
    • Coordinate with management regarding client needs that are outside normal operating parameters.
    • Prepare quotes, reservations, and rental contracts in the rental software with all required information.
    • Thoroughly inspect vehicles to document any damages before and after rentals.
    • Work as a team with other employees to achieve assigned tasks and business goals.
    • Ensure vehicles are prepared and delivered to clients in a timely manner.
    • Performing vehicle inspections for check in and check out.
    • Accurately invoice and monitor receivables on corporate accounts.
    • Ensure a pleasant, smooth, and efficient rental process for each customer
    • Use the company mission, culture, and values as the lens to guide engagement with clients and Alaska Auto Rental team members.
    • Follow key-handling procedures to ensure vehicle keys are stored properly.

     

    Desired Qualifications:

    • Must have previous experience managing corporate accounts.
    • Must have at least 5 years driving experience, a current driver’s license, and driving record acceptable to our insurance carrier.
    • Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Must possess good problem solving skills.
    • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
    • Must consistently display a positive attitude.
    • Must possess good basic math skills.
    • Must be teachable by being a good listener and willing to continually learn new skills.
    • Must be able to follow instructions.
    • Must be detail oriented and possess strong organizational skills.
    • Must be able to work independently without direct supervision.
    • Must be punctual
    • Must be a team player, willing to solve differences cooperatively with other team members.
    • Must own a smartphone.
    • Must not use tobacco or marijuana products during working hours, on company owned property, or during company sponsored events.
    • Must be able to lift 50 lbs occasionally.
    • Must perform the physical demands of the position, including walking, crouching, bending, and standing for extended periods
