We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced corporate paralegal to join our dynamic team. Our company specializes in real estate development, property management, and various commercial businesses. We are seeking candidates having at least 10 years of experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in real estate sales, leasing transactions and real estate law This individual will be assisting with maintaining corporate minute books, quarterly and annual tax elections and informational filings, payroll and employment law needs, drafting and completing basic legal documents, preparing interview title commitments and real estate closing documents and providing overall support to our team.
Responsibilities:
- Monitoring changes in real estate laws and regulations.
- Drafting and reviewing legal documents, including corporate resolutions, contracts, leases, and other agreements
- Assisting the team with closings, filings, and other legal transactions
- Managing and organizing legal documents and case files
- Coordinating with our business groups, attorneys, and other professionals
- Conduct legal research and provide support in case preparation and legal analysis
- Handle administrative tasks and other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum of 10 years of experience working as a corporate paralegal
- Familiarity with real estate laws, corporate regulations, and procedures is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Understanding of legal language and principles, research methods, court pleadings and processes, and other related matters.
- Proficiency in legal research and writing
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
