Implements best practice construction methods to improve efficiency, productivity, and project outcomes. Requires a bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field.     We are looking for an experienced and seasoned Construction Project Manager to plan and supervise a wide range of major capital new construction and renovation projects on the central coast of California from start to finish, specifically in the Santa Barbara area.     Responsibilities


    • Build strong professional working relationships with key stakeholders
    • Determine needed resources (manpower, equipment and materials) from start to finish with attention to budgetary limitations
    • Plan all construction operations and schedule intermediate phases to ensure deadlines will be met
    • Hire subcontractors and vendors, allocate responsibilities
    • Evaluate progress and prepare detailed reports
    • Submit monthly progress billings, ensure labor compliance and documentation needs are met
    • Create and maintain construction scheduling, phasing, and sequencing
    • Ensure adherence to all health and safety standards and report issues

    Requirements


    • Proven experience as construction project manager
    • In-depth understanding of construction procedures and material and project management principles
    • Familiarity with quality and health and safety standards
    • Good knowledge of MS Suite, including Teams, Word, Excel, Project
    • Familiarity with construction / project management software, Procore and BlueBeam Preferred
    • Familiarity and oversight experience for direct performed trade work including earthwork, underground utilities, concrete, and framing.
    • Outstanding communication and negotiation skills
    • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
    • A team player with leadership abilities
    • BSc/BA in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, Building Science or relevant field preferred
    • PMP or equivalent certification will be an advantage
