Corporate Giving Director identifies and assesses the causes and organizations that align with the company's values and goals and implements strategic plans to support them. Establishes and maintains relationships with nonprofit organizations and community leaders to ensure effective collaboration and support of giving initiatives. Being a Corporate Giving Director manages the budget for charitable giving, evaluates grant proposals, and monitors the impact of the company's charitable contributions. Develops employee volunteer programs to engage employees, offer participation to wider audience, and raise awareness about the organization's charitable initiatives. Additionally, Corporate Giving Director maintains current knowledge of best practices in corporate giving and philanthropy. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Corporate Giving Director typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be a Corporate Giving Director typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience.   • CORPORATE REAL ESTATE STRATEGY & OPERATIONS DIRECTOR
    Responsible for complete oversight and resource management for Real Estate led Program Management Office for 550 locations totalling 4.2 million square feet with an aggregate budget of approximately $160MM. This includes HQ's, Corporate, and Retail locations in all of Comerica's markets including MI, TX, CA, AZ, FL and Other. Position will be responsible for the development and execution of real estate strategic plans and operations and their resulting impact on the corporation. This includes Marketing & Development, Operations, Finance and Risk/Compliance. Additionally, this position will be responsible for overseeing the CBRE relationship (Facilities Management, Project Management, Transactions, Lease Administration, Procurement, Sustainability & Energy Management, Health, Safety & Environmental) of 100 full time employees delivering on all goals, SLA/KPI's and contractual obligations.
    Responsibilities
    • Responsible for the development and approval of the overall CRE mulit-year portfolio strategic plan.
    • Responsible fo the development and approval of all real estate programs such as CoWork, Retail Reimagined, Service Line Integration, Singage/Branding, M&A, etc..
    • Responsible for the development and execution of policies, processes, and controls related to all real estate disciplines with an emphasis on cost containment, transformation, image and standardization.
    • Responsible for the strategic analysis, project scoping and approach definition to deliver and get approval from C-suite on all CRE programs.
    • Responsible for best in class real estate delivery using data analytics, technology and benchmarking to tranform business outcomes.
    • Partner with all stakeholders to gain advocacy for all programs/projects to gain approval and successfully execute.
    • Foster excellent partnerships with all Comerica business units (clients) and external vendors.
    • Meet with senior executives to identify problems, concerns, issues and resolve items in a timely manner to allow successful approval and implementation of all CRE programs.
    • Act as an escalation point for any program delivery related concerns.
    • Provide complete oversight on programs relating to space optimization in support of CoWork, Retail Reimagined, etc., including program plans, schedules, and ensuring risk mitigation strategies are in place.
    • Responsible for providing guidance on consistent application of program management methodologies, successful delivery of projects consistent and in support of strategic plans.
    • Develop and manage metrics to monitor program success and report progress against defined objectives.
    • Responsible for financial analysis, annual budget, planning and variance reporting for CRE.
      Responsible for all CRE operations (FM, PjM, LA, Sustainability, HS&E, Procurement) including program improvements and delivery.
    • Responsible for analyzing operational situations, making recommendations and implementing recommendations.
    • Ensure all governance and compliance reporting and requirements are met including Diversity, Sustainability, and corporate ESG.
    • Develop and report out on all SLA and KPI performance indicators.
    • Responsible for the strategy and execution for all leased and owned portfolion transactions including, buying, selling, lease negotiations, lease renewals, subleases, SNDA's etc.
    • Ensure all compliance, regulatory, legal and risk items are adhered too, without missing any contractual deadlines.


    Qualifcations
    • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited University in CRE, Accounting, Finance and Management
    • 10 or more years Progressive CRE relevant work experience (all facets)
    • 10 or more years Strategic Planning & Execution
    • 10 or more years Budget Planning & Execution
    • 10 or ore years Business Optimization
    • 10 or more years High Performing Team Management
