Corporate Giving Director jobs in Fort Worth, TX

Corporate Giving Director identifies and assesses the causes and organizations that align with the company's values and goals and implements strategic plans to support them. Establishes and maintains relationships with nonprofit organizations and community leaders to ensure effective collaboration and support of giving initiatives. Being a Corporate Giving Director manages the budget for charitable giving, evaluates grant proposals, and monitors the impact of the company's charitable contributions. Develops employee volunteer programs to engage employees, offer participation to wider audience, and raise awareness about the organization's charitable initiatives. Additionally, Corporate Giving Director maintains current knowledge of best practices in corporate giving and philanthropy. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Corporate Giving Director typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be a Corporate Giving Director typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience.     What will you be doing in your role?

    •  Research, develop and implement a comprehensive fundraising plan to meet the organization’s annual revenue goals.
    • Research and oversee new fundraising initiatives and unique programs to support revenue growth.
    • Identify and cultivate annual gift prospects, as well as corporate and event donors.
    • Work closely with the events team to engage donors and raise funds for the organization through sponsorships and underwriting.
    • Manage and lead a team of fundraising professionals, providing guidance, training, and support as needed.
    • You are accountable for the functions performed by your team to support the overall mission of the agency. 
    • Collaborate with the Communications team to develop and execute effective donor communications and marketing materials.
    • Work closely with the Head of Advancement to develop fundraising strategies and goals.
    • Monitor, analyze and audit fundraising data to evaluate performance and adjust strategies as needed.
    • Be responsible for individual donor portfolio and cultivation of annual giving donors.

     

    Are you the next Director of Annual Giving?

    • Bachelor’s degree in nonprofit management, business administration, or a related field.
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in nonprofit fundraising, with a proven track record of success in annual giving, corporate giving, planned giving, and event giving.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to write compelling donor communications and marketing materials.
    • Strong leadership and management skills, with experience managing a team of fundraising professionals.
    • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, Board members, and volunteers.
    • Experience with fundraising software and donor databases.
    • A deep commitment to the mission and values of our organization.

     

    Here's the Good Stuff... 

    • Full-Time, salaried position with a starting pay range of $75,000- $78,000. Pay is determined by relevant experience, work history, education and internal equities.
