Establishes and maintains relationships with nonprofit organizations and community leaders to ensure effective collaboration and support of giving initiatives. Being a Corporate Giving Director manages the budget for charitable giving, evaluates grant proposals, and monitors the impact of the company's charitable contributions. Develops employee volunteer programs to engage employees, offer participation to wider audience, and raise awareness about the organization's charitable initiatives. Additionally, Corporate Giving Director maintains current knowledge of best practices in corporate giving and philanthropy. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Corporate Giving Director typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be a Corporate Giving Director typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience. We are looking for an experienced Corporate Paralegal to support our corporate law practice. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in assisting attorneys in various corporate legal matters, ensuring the smooth operation of our practice and delivering high-quality legal services to our clients.
Responsibilities:
Assist attorneys in preparing and drafting legal documents related to corporate transactions.
Conduct legal research and gather relevant information to support legal proceedings.
Manage and organize corporate records, contracts, and other legal documents.
Coordinate and facilitate communication between attorneys, clients, and external parties.
Prepare and file legal documents with government agencies and regulatory bodies.
Assist in due diligence processes for mergers, acquisitions, and other corporate transactions.
Stay updated on changes in corporate laws and regulations.
Provide administrative support to attorneys, including scheduling meetings and managing calendars.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree and/or a recognized paralegal certification, or equivalent work experience.
Proven experience as a paralegal, preferably in a law firm setting within the corporate or transactional space.
Proficiency in legal research, document drafting, and case management.
Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
Proficient in using legal research databases and software.
